Deborah serves as a legal assistant at The Law Offices of Kimberly Butler Rainen, where she supports staff and clients across all areas of the firm’s practice. From drafting documents and assisting with Medicaid applications to tracking deadlines and keeping clients informed, Deborah brings a dedication to the work that helps keep the firm running smoothly.

Before entering the legal field, Deborah worked as a teacher, developing a talent for breaking complex processes into clear, manageable steps. She later earned her paralegal certificate, and that clarity now helps clients navigate unfamiliar processes with confidence.  In elder law and estate planning, Deborah has found her calling. 

There’s a reason that calling runs deep. Deborah has cared for loved ones facing serious illness and the challenges of aging, giving her a firsthand understanding of what families need during difficult times. It’s an understanding that drew her to Kimberly’s team and drives her commitment to treating every client with compassion and care.

In her free time, you can find Deborah hiking local trails with her husband or sitting by the river with a good book.
